Fear always attracts more fear until you take a step positive and life is like that only, you have to be brave enough though you are many times looser

It was not too cold, in fact, it was the ending of winter. I woke up at 4 am sharp when ninety percent of the public in deep asleep. I got a bath, dressed up and had my green tea. It was all ready for the weekday’s mission - It was Monday. My shift starts at 6 am and ends at 3. I travel in the morning meet often wild dogs. They chase me for 200 meters minimum. One thing I learned from that incidence, when anytime it happens with you, keep one thing in mind. Do not race with a wild dog, they can injure you very badly.

But you must think what is the best way to keep safe from these dogs? stood there and let them attack you? No, never. Only standing like a statue does not help in this situation. They will really attack you and could cause serious injuries. The wild dogs possess very toxic serum, they eat whatever they get and found very poisonous. Municipal Corporation bus comes sometimes get them on it and extinguish but nowadays dogs are so intelligent. They disappear for a week and again come back.

That day, as usual, I was riding my motorbike on average speed. I had crossed almost more than half distance and was about to reach my office in the next five minutes. While driving, I always put air filter, helmet and glows. The air filter is a very important accessory in the metro cities in India. Everywhere is air-pollution and if even for a day the climate changed then you get sick for 101 percent.




I heard the humming of a dog, it was black and running toward me, he was crossing my way from 20 feet long narrow path. He must have had hidden under a shadow. He was dark, eyes were red and he tall and slim. It was a street dog though well maintained – His body hair was clean as someone is taking care. He had already crossed the half distance and flung opened his mouth wide revealing white and sharp teeth. The saliva from his mouth was dripping like he is hungry for meat and irritated. My speed was around 45 km/hour and applied brake instantly.

The road was empty, I was frightened looking at him, he stood on my right just five feet away wearing terrific look, he was breathing heavily. It was a dark moment for me. My heart was pumping too, the vehicle was still on and stopped. For a second I was not sure whether I will beat this animal or not. His long and watery tongue was out handing in the air. The eyes were wide opened not only his but mine too.

If I decide to switch the gear and accelerate to full speed but I was sure that I am going to be caught that was for sure. Though I was riding machine it would take time to get good speed. I did not give up, I stood there looking into the eyes of the demon who anytime could have bite flesh of my leg. I kept looking into his eyes with a ton of anger on my face. He was slowly coming closer to me and my intensity looking at him was increasing gradually. There only two option was left, either call someone or face the situation. I know there was no time to call.

I said loudly as I could and when I said, it vibrates my eyes and ears it was that louder. Might be this was loudest in the last two – five years. I did not take my glance until he looked away. He was the first breaking the glance. That day I understood very well that animal can understand the language of eyes. They can know and sense human very closely. Thus I saved myself. It was a great learning, fear attracts fears only If you try bravely for sure the chances of winning is more likely to happen.
